So I'm leaving work and I think, "Hey! I should get a pair of those little headphones to wear on the train on the way to work." I'm walking through Times Square, wisely avoiding the electronics stores with their 800% tourist markup. I cross the street and go to the Virgin Records Megastore. I walk in and there's a bunch of security everywhere. I look around the floor and don't find any headphones. "They must have them downstairs." So I walk towards the escalator and it's roped off with a bunch of mildly retarded looking mullethead security goons blocking the way downstairs. "What's going on?"

"Everclear is having a live performance and record signing."

I went home without buying any headphones.
