At work last night I was doing some paperwork and this drunk guy came from the hotel lounge to pester me.

"You know ... (drool) .. doctors always say that drinking is bad for you, but I've seen a lot more old drunks than old doctors."

"That's because you have to go to school for years and years to become a doctor but any idiot can be an alcoholic."

(guy stops for a thoughtful pause while looking blankly at an empty part of my desk)

"Yeah .... well .... I was just making a comment."

(walks away)
